Biography Text: Dr. Donald Nelson is a Board Certified Orthodontist and Assistant Clinical Professor in Orthodontics at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Department of Orthodontics and was a member of the Orthodontic faculty at NYU for many years as well. Dr. Nelson has been a practicing clinical orthodontist for over 40 years and has been teaching orthodontics for over 30 years. The topics he has covered include Early Treatment, growth modification of Class II and Class III patients, Orthognathic treatment and complex adult orthodontic treatment. In the past 10 years Dr. Nelson has been using Piezocision to treat challenging cases and working with Dr. Serge Dibart to expand and improve the applications of Piezocision. As a result he has lectured extensively on the clinical use of Piezocision to enhance treatment outcomes. Dr. Nelson is a well-known lecturer nationally and internationally. He has presented in Rome, Shanghai, Colombia among other countries as well as many cities in the United States. Many of his techniques and protocols have been adopted and are in use by former students and attendees of his courses.
