Biography Text: Dr. Souyias went to the University of Detroit Mercy for his dental education and graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2002. Immediately following dental school he chose to specialize in periodontics because of the pure passion he developed for that part of dentistry. He completed a three-year periodontal residency program at Oregon Health and Science University in 2005. Jason’s constant pursuit of excellence led him to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology in 2007. Jason’s passion for his profession is reflected in his desire to share it with others. He is a former Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Periodontology and Hygiene, at the University of Detroit Mercy and is an owner and founder of Referral Lab business analytic software. Dr. Souyias regularly educates dentists and hygienists by giving presentations and in 2023 became a faculty member at the Pikos Institute. He frequently presents to groups on business practices and periodontal therapy. Anyone who has seen him speak can feel his passion for his work. Dr. Souyias is also in full-time private practice in Port Huron, MI. His office is known for their amazing case acceptance and communication skills, as well as their incredible patient experience. Jason is committed to helping the dentists he works with succeed. In their free time, Jason, his wife Paula, daughter Stella, and son Leo enjoy traveling, playing sports, and cooking. Homemade Greek food is one of their specialties. Dr. Souyias loves to ski and scuba dive whenever the opportunity arises during his travels. He also competitively shoots sporting clays as a hobby.
