Dr. Hirohide Arimoto - DDS, PhD

Biography Text: Hirohide Arimoto, DDS, PhD Orthodontist at E-Smile International Orthodontics Dr. Hirohide Arimoto, a distinguished alumnus of Osaka Dental University, holds a DDS and a PhD in Orthodontics. From 1998 to 2004, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at his alma mater. In 2001, he established E-Smile International Orthodontics in Osaka, Japan, where he practices his expertise. His orthodontic approach draws inspiration from Norman Cetlin’s non-extraction treatment method. Dr. Arimoto is also a founding member of the Japanese Academy of Nonextraction Orthodontics (JANO). He gained recognition as an invited speaker at the American Association of Orthodontists’ Scientific Session in 2002 and was a recipient of the Joseph E. Johnson Table Clinic Award as part of JANO. He has co-authored two notable Japanese books: “Molar Oriented Orthodontics (2011)” and “A Life of Visionary Dentist (2014)”. His extensive lecturing both in Japan and internationally covers a range of topics including Molar Oriented Orthodontics, Interdisciplinary Treatment, Aligner Treatment, and Sustainable Orthodontics. Recently, Dr. Arimoto has focused on Accelerated Aligner Treatment through photobiomodulation, sharing his insights with the German Association for Aligner Orthodontics, the French Society of Aligners Orthodontics, the Taiwan Association of Aligner Orthodontics, and the Japan Association of Aligner Orthodontics. He is a Faculty member of Align Technology, a Clinical Speaker for Dental Monitoring, and an active at-large member of the Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontists.
