Biography Text: Giuseppe Carvelli, DMD MS, serves as an associate periodontist in Mission Viejo, CA, and holds a part-time lecturer position at the University of California, Los Angeles, Section of Periodontics. He obtained his Doctor of Dentistry degree from Magna Graecia University, Italy, in 2017, followed by a Doctor of Dental Medicine from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, Newark, NJ, in 2020. Dr. Carvelli then pursued advanced training in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery through the esteemed residency program at University of Rochester - Eastman Institute for Oral Health, earning a Master of Science degree in 2022 and graduating in 2023. Committed to advancing this vibrant field, he achieved Board Certification from the American Board of Periodontology, has published articles on international journals, co-authored a book on gingival recessions available exclusively in Italy, and actively engages in ongoing research. Outside of his professional pursuits, Giuseppe enjoys spending quality time with his loved ones amidst the pleasant weather of Southern California.
