HW1: Diverse Applications of “DASK” in Sinus Surgery: Hands-On Workshop (Ticketed Course, CE Provided by Dentium USA)

Presenters

Description

Dentium USA is designated as an approved CE provider, and attendees are eligible to receive four (4) continuing education (CE) credits. The Academy does not designate CE credit for this workshop.

Maxillary sinus surgery has undergone 2 simultaneous evolutions since its inception. The first is an evolution of instrumentation from rotary, to Piezoelectric, and back to rotary (DASK). The second is an evolution in surgical technique from clinical opinions, to trans-sinus, to simplified antrostomy design (S.A.D.), to the low window sinus elevation technique.

These evolutions have the common goals of reducing intraoperative complications, surgical time, and postoperative morbidity. The didactic portion of this course will explain how these goals are accomplished. It will further introduce the palatal sinus window technique and the Division II palatal block anesthesia technique. The hands-on portion will show how DASK instrumentation and technique are key to accomplishing these goals in both lateral window and transcrestal sinus elevation surgery.

Course Fee: $99

* Dentium USA will offer a $99 credit towards your next Dentium USA purchase. Details to redeem your credit will be provided by Dentium USA at the in-person workshop.

Thank you to Dentium USA for sponsoring this Corporate Hands-On Workshop!
