Peer review is essential for maintaining the integrity of scientific research, and both JOP and CAP rely on peer reviewers to provide constructive, unbiased evaluations of manuscripts submitted for publication. To write an effective peer review report, a reviewer must be knowledgeable about the guiding principles of peer review, along with specific components of a peer review report. This workshop will detail these important aspects and provide real-world examples. Group exercises will be conducted, and online resources will be shared prior to and during the workshop.
• Learn the guiding principles of peer review.
• Practice executing the components of a peer review report.
• Be empowered to begin reviewing articles for JOP and CAP.
