Description

This workshop will educate attendees about dental coding relevant to a periodontal practice. Content is intended for staff new to coding and/or reimbursement for periodontal procedures. This course will identify the typical procedure codes submitted in conjunction with treatment provided by the periodontist. Participants will receive a handout of information to be covered in the presentation.

Educational Objectives

• Apply American Dental Association CDT codes properly for dental insurance submission.
• Identify what procedure codes need documentation and attachments when submitting claims.
• Review through designated Q&A session.
